Rolyan SoftStrap Strapping Material

Rolyan SoftStrap is a premium, non-stretchable strapping material featuring specialized sealed side edges. The material is constructed with loop fabric laminated to both sides of a foam core, allowing it to mate seamlessly with both standard and HTH (High-Thin) hooks for a secure, adjustable fit. This 1/4-inch thick strapping is available in a versatile range of widths, including 1/2", 1", 1 1/2", 2", and 6".

Engineered for longevity, this material consists of a five-layer laminate including hook-compatible nylon fabric, open-cell polyurethane foam, and a central stabilizing core. The self-sealing edges are a key feature, ensuring the strap will not unravel or snag on clothing during use. It is compatible with most splinting bases and is ideal for creating customized "wraparound loops" that allow the user to modify the tension as needed.

Because it conforms to the body’s anatomy without over-tightening, SoftStrap is highly recommended for patients dealing with edema or hypersensitive skin. The open-cell polyurethane foam provides essential cushioning for inflamed or swollen areas.
